Khoo Teck Puat Hospital’s Hip Fracture Unit (HFU) is a unit whereby a multidisciplinary team that comprises of geriatricians, orthopaedic surgeon, anaesthetist, nurses and allied health professionals manages elderly hip fracture patients with the aim of providing an integrated and holistic care. HFU facilitates the preparation of the patient for safe surgery and subsequent convalescence and rehabilitation. This video shows you the journey of our HFU patients from A&E to rehabilitation.
