Los Angeles Street Virtual Walking Tour. We visited the place of telling the story of McDonald's history. First Original McDonald's Museum is located 14th St. & N E St. in San Bernardino. In 1948, Dick and Mac McDonald brothers built the first McDonald's restaurant here, where the history of fast food style has started. This property was taken over by local chicken shop owner and now runs as the first original McDonald's museum unofficially. The first original McDonald's are open Mon - Sun 10am - 5pm, admission Free. First original McDonald's was dismantled and the property is now the museum. So, the oldest McDonald's which still is in operation is the one in Downey. The oldest McDonald's is still gold arches building and has small collections and pictures in the eating booth.
