Black people we have a message. Black Americans have reacted to the election in a variety of ways. Most have resisted in some form, be it in protest or reflection, but resistant nevertheless. However, the nuanced reaction has triggered many who see the need for Black bodies on the front line of any protest or resistance movement. You know, like we were last year in prevention of this new Trump Administration. As Ice raids litter the country, the call from the Latino community has been direct and consistent for Black people to join them on the front lines, you know like we did in November for them to prevent this kind of devastation. Many have joined, some have not, but for Black people it's never enough. Somehow folks are incapable of looking inward, at the Latino community or outward, like the White community when in need of help. It's always us. Today, a white protestor calls for Black people to join Latinos in the resistance because in his words, "they will come for us next."
