Kay Milliner Kitchens is the CEO and Founder of K. Milliner Kitchens Consulting, LLC, bringing more than 23 years of experience in travel and tourism to the industry. The majority of her career was spent with the United States Virgin Islands Department of Tourism (USVI DOT), where she played a pivotal role in driving destination growth and strategic sales initiatives. Kay began her career with the USVI Department of Tourism in 2003 as Regional Manager, Midwest, where she successfully expanded market share and strengthened trade relationships throughout the region. In 2007, she transitioned to the role of Regional Manager, Atlanta, continuing to build strong partnerships and elevate the U.S. Virgin Islands’ presence in a key feeder market. In 2010, Kay was promoted to Director of Sales, serving as a key member of the executive leadership team. In this role, she was instrumental in developing and executing targeted sales strategies that supported overall destination growth and long-term market positioning. After departing the USVI Department of Tourism, Kay founded K. Milliner Kitchens Consulting in late 2023, leveraging her extensive expertise and industry relationships to support resorts and travel brands. Her consulting portfolio includes an impressive roster of Caribbean properties and products such as The Moorings & Sunsail, Bay Gardens Resorts (St. Lucia), Calabash Cove Resort & Spa (St. Lucia), Wharfside Village Hotel (St. John, USVI), and The Buccaneer (St. Croix, USVI).
