[MY HARDEST LEVEL] Sonic Wave by Cyclic and LSunix 100% (LEGENDARY DEMON) | Geometry Dash

📜 Description: Sonic Wave was originally created by Cyclic 7 years ago in order to rival Bloodbath in terms of difficulty. However, this level was so far ahead of its time that people could not fathom the idea that a human could have possibly verified such a legendarily difficult level with god-precise inputs. It turns out that this level was originally hack-verified by Cyclic, but that didn't stop top players from attempting to verify this beast. In 2016-11-25, a player by the name Sunix managed to verify this level which showed once and for all that this level was humanly possible despite the sheer precision it asks of you. This level was #1 for a really long time, switching spots with the other legendary demons in the RGB (Yatagarasu and Erebus), but ultimately this level is harder than those two based on the rank difference on the demon list today. I have been making runs on this level on and off ever since I beat Cataclysm. I decided to go and beat it earlier this year which is why I consider 32k of these attempts "wasted". Unfortunately, little did I know how painful my experience with this level would become. I ended up crashing at 93% on 2022-04-13 and crashed at 93% again at a later point. On 2022-04-15, I crashed at 94% and was completely devastated. I've also encountered a lot of stupid deaths past 75% and as a result, I decided to beat some easier extreme demons and took a break from this game for roughly 4 months. I realized that my mental health had taken quite a toll due to the two 93% and the 94% failures. I felt completely depressed every time I thought about the dopamine rush I would have gotten if I had not died right at the brink of victory. I managed to find an opportunity for free time and went on an intense 5-day grind to get rid of this level once and for all. After roughly a total of 30k attempts from the 94% fail, I crashed at 95%. I kept going and fortunately managed to beat it on Sunday 2022-10-09, just about 2k attempts after the 95% failure. There are no words that can explain how happy this completion made me and how much of a weight-off-my-shoulders feeling I am experiencing even as of right now while I am writing this description. My experience with this level was completely authentic as I have barely played other versions of Sonic Wave such as Auditory Breaker. I do not even think there are enough words in the English vocabulary to describe how ridiculously hard this level is, and it is not even funny. The gap between Phobos (my former hardest demon) and Sonic Wave is comparable to Clubstep and Cataclysm. Such a massive difference in difficulty is the reason why players think there should be a new difficulty above extreme demons because demons like Sonic Wave are in a completely different league.
