I finally got my home studio all set up with my Tascam 414 acting as a mixing console, so I figured it'd be fun to record onto it as well. The Digitone's FM sounds already have a retro vibe, so adding the extra grit of recording onto the cassette and pitching the recording down gives it another layer of retro dirt.
