Small Plane, Big Airport: IFR to Philadelphia International (ATC Audio)

Cessna 172 SP - G1000 Avionics Suite IFR flight to Philadelphia International (KPHL) Our flight up to Philly was a fun one. It began with a little bit of irritation with the route of flight as we were given a completely different clearance from our filed route that would take us south, around the DC SFRA (Special Flight Rules Area) instead of north, as I filed. Couple that with a runway switch to the north after having programed a southbound departure into the GPS, it took us a little while to figure out the route of flight. Eventually we figured it out, and the remainder of the flight went uneventfully. This flight earned us about 0.3 of actual instrument time as we flew through a few very light layers of clouds. The busy Philly airspace was a blast to fly in, and my experience flying in Miami airspace paid off in my ability to handle the business. Overall, this flight was a pleasant -- but long -- IFR flight. I hope y'all enjoy this video!
