Apart from the blower (which we already had) this forge cost nothing at all. It is made entirely from scrap -- and still it works really well and should last for years. The steel tube was already bent into a curve, but it could easily have been a made from two straight pieces welded together at right angles. The thickness of the pipe isn't too important -- but you need to be able to control the air-flow. The blower we had was for bouncy castles (I think) and way too powerful for this little forge, so I came up with a simple regulator in the form of the door of the blower box. Again, DON'T cut into a gas bottle that has gas in it or it will explode. Obviously! Be careful people, ok?
