My dog Winnie loves playing in the water. I built this "sprinkler" for her so she's able to play in the water and bite at the fountains while being as safe as possible. NOTE: Dogs can accidentally inhale or “aspirate” some water when they play with water like this, so always keep an eye on them if you build something similar! This ended up working out great for my dog. I'm sure there are better ways to build a sprinkler or water toy for your dog, but I'm happy with the result (and so is Winnie). Supplies ============================== 3/4" PVC coupler 3/4" PVC Hose Adapter 3/4" PVC end cap 2 ft. piece of 3/4" PVC PVC Rain-R-Shine Blue Cement: https://amzn.to/2Zo4hUz PVC Purple Primer: https://amzn.to/2KREs7t Drill: https://amzn.to/2HnOPhh Directions ============================== 1. Apply primer to the outside of the hose adapter (non threaded side) and to the inside on one side of the coupler. Wait for primer to dry. 2. Repeat step 1 using the blue cement and push the adapter into the coupler. 3. Apply primer to the inside of the coupler (side without the adapter) and to the outside on one side of the PVC pipe. Wait for primer to dry. 4. Repeat step 3 using the blue cement and push the PVC pipe into the coupler. 5. Apply primer to the inside of the endcap and to the outside of the end of the PVC pipe without the adapter. Wait for primer to dry. 6. Repeat step 5 using the blue cement and push the endcap onto the PVC pipe. 7. Drill 3 small holes into the PVC pipe spread out evenly. You can play with the size and amount of holes. If you drill more holes or holes that are larger, you’ll get smaller fountains. If you do less, you’ll get larger fountains. 8. Wait like 15 minutes for everything to dry. 9. Attach adapter to the hose. EZ PZ! Instagram: / jasonklunk Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com/referra...
