Unnao rape case: Ex-BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar’s life sentence suspended pending appeal | Delhi High Court The Delhi High Court has suspended Kuldeep Singh Sengar's life sentence in the Unnao rape case pending his appeal. The expelled BJP MLA was granted bail with strict conditions, including a ₹15 lakh personal bond, no entry within 5 km of the survivor's home, and no contact with her or her mother. Justices Subramonium Prasad and Harish Vaidyanathan Shankar also required him to stay in Delhi, surrender his passport, and report to police every Monday. Convicted in 2019 for raping a minor in Uttar Pradesh, the case was shifted to Delhi by the Supreme Court for a fair trial.
