There are dark lines on the track, too, that can help identify where heavy traffic goes and the abilities of some cars to actually get to a good driving line varies, but at least try to get to where the car stays efficient. Use the yellow map pins to show you targets to point the car at, so that you get close to turn-in points and apexes (wide in, apex, wide out).
