Today we'll be reviewing part number 36078. This is the Draw-Tite Class II Draw Bar with 4 3/4" drop. This is designed to fit 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" Class II receiver style hitches. You can see here on the back side that we do have a nice solid shank, enclosed here. This is going to use a ball with a 3/4" shank diameter. We can find that out simply by taking a measurement of the ball hole diameter, which is going to measure 3/4". If we take a measurement from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole, that's going to give us a measurement of 7 1/2". This system is going to provide a 4 3/4" drop and that's from the inside top edge of the receiver tube to the ball platform. This is rated for up to 3500 pounds of gross trailer weight and up to 300 pounds of tongue weight. Another great feature is that your pin and clip, those are both included. It also has a nice black finish on it, so it is going to stand up well against rust and corrosion. A couple other measurements to go over, the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the shank is going to measure about 1 7/8". From the center of the hitch pin hole to this portion here is going to give us a measurement of 2 5/8". The way this works is you simply slide this portion into the hitch on your vehicle. You want to slide it in until your pin holes line up with one another. Then you can take your half inch pin and clip, place it into position, and secure it with the clip on the other side. The ball platform is going to give us a width of right at 2". That's going to do it for today's review of part number 36078. This is the Draw-Tite Class II Draw Bar. .
