The Raleigh Retroglide iE is a comfortable cruiser styled electric bicycle with paint matched steel fenders, a chain cover, sturdy rear rack, and overbuilt wheels to handle extra weight, quality pedal and kickstand. Available in classic step-over and approachable step-thru frames to suit different body types, the Retroglide comes in four color options and the saddle, grips, and battery sticker tie in nicely. Basic 7-speed drivetrain gets the job done for neighborhood and city rides but Raleigh specced a wider 11-32 tooth cassette to make climbing easier, mid-motor and battery keep weight low and center, both wheels have quick release. Simple display panel is not removable but it does have a Mini USB port built in for charging portable electronics, mechanical disc brakes aren't as responsive as hydraulic but stay cleaner than rim brakes, fast 3-amp charger has a touch metal tip but weighs a bit more.
