UPSers Deliver More Than 70,000 Pairs of Socks to Wayside for Louisville’s Homeless Community!

Through their '2026 Warming the Soles UPS Winter Sock Donation Drive,' UPS employees across Louisville came together to purchase and donate 70,357 pairs of socks for the city's homeless community, and they shattered every record in the process. Wayside will distribute many of the socks to other local nonprofits who are also helping our homeless population. When a cold winter hits Louisville, one simple item can mean everything to someone living on the streets: a pair of warm, dry socks. While food and shelter often grab the headlines, socks remain one of the most overlooked necessities for people experiencing homelessness. UPSers changed that.
