The Forgotten Mountain | Fan Fawr | Brecon Beacons

Fan Fawr is one of the quieter peaks in the central Brecon Beacons, often overlooked in favour of it's more famous neighbour Pen y Fan. Fan Fawr is short, steep in places, and ideal for a simple afternoon walk. In this episode of the 34-peak challenge, we make a small loop over Fan Fawr, gaining height quickly before enjoying open views across the central Beacons. The route returns past a series of small waterfalls, adding a gentle finish to an otherwise straightforward day.
