After taking a short breather last week, we’re straight back into renovations at our 200 year old Scottish stone cottage. In this episode, we continue the attic conversion and begin transforming the space into a bespoke home office, starting with bead and butt wall panelling behind my custom-built workstation — proper cosy cottage vibes. Adam tackles the electrics, rerouting old wiring, adding extra power sockets for all my devices, and installing vintage industrial-style wall lights to suit the character of the cottage. But as anyone renovating an old house will know… nothing is ever simple. Uneven walls, hidden surprises, and plans that don’t quite go to plan are all part of life in a historic home. If you enjoy Scottish cottage renovations, attic conversions, and realistic home improvement projects (with a few inevitable hiccups along the way), we think you’ll enjoy this one ☕🪵 Thanks so much for watching and for all your continued support — it genuinely means the world to us.
