How to Make a Beach Clock with Craft Resin

Want to create home decor with Craft Resin? Watch this video and learn how to make a beautiful beach-themed clock using Craft Resin epoxy! 1️⃣ Make sure your wooden slab is clean and prepped. Create a secure mould wall all the way around. 💡Quick Tip: Double-check your tape seal! A few extra seconds now prevents hours of sanding later if the resin leaks out. 2️⃣ Use Craft Resin’s 1:1 formula for the first layer. Mix it slowly to keep it bubble-free. Divide the resin into three parts: Shore: Mixed with fine river sand. Deep Ocean: Dark blue pigment. Shallows: Light turquoise pigment. Pour them in sequence: first the sand, then the dark blue, and finally the light blue in the middle. Use a stick to blend the colors where they meet, giving it that natural flow. Quick pass with the heat gun to pop any surface bubbles. Then, let it cure for 24 hours. 4️⃣ After the base is fully cured, mix a small amount of Craft Resin with white pigment paste. Draw thin lines of white and use the heat gun to gently blow the foam back over the blue area. This creates those beautiful, lacy wave patterns. While the resin is still wet, press in small shells and pebbles. Be minimalist with the decor - we want to enhance, not overpower, the resin art. 5️⃣ After waiting for another 24 hours, everything is set! For the perfect glass finish, use the Craft Resin 2:1 formula for a thicker, high-gloss layer. Pour it evenly across the entire surface, torch for bubbles, and cover it to protect it from dust. Wait 48 hours for the resin to cure. 6️⃣ Once cured, remove the mould, sand off any drips on the edges, and drill the hole for the clock mechanism.
