Follow us on social media: Instagram: schannel21 Pinterest: / sarapchannel Twitter: / sarapchannel Turkish Delight Recipe Ingredients 1 pack (25g) unflavored white gelatin 1 tsp pomelo powdered drink (dissolved in ¾ cup water) ½ cornstarch (dissolved in 1 cup water) 2 cups sugar 1 cup water 2 tbsp corn syrup 1 tbsp vanilla 2 drops of red or pink food color 1 cup cornstarch (for dusting) Procedure 1. Lightly grease square pan (I’m using a 7 ½ inches x 7 ½ inches square pan) with cooking oil (corn oil, vegetable oil or canola oil). 2. Dissolved pomelo powder drink in water. Mix until dissolved. 3. Then add 1 pack of white unflavored gelatin to the pomelo juice. Mix until the gelatin powder is dissolved. Set aside. 4. In another bowl dissolved cornstarch in a cup of water. Set aside. 5. In a sauce pan add sugar, water and corn syrup. Mix until sugar is dissolved. Then turn on the stove to medium heat. Let it boil. Once it boils, simmer for 1 minute over low medium heat. 6. Add cornstarch mixture. Stir until it thickens. 7. Add the gelatin- juice mixture, vanilla and 2-3 drops red or pink food color. Mix until the color is even. 8. Pour into prepared grease squared pan. 9. Let it cool to set. 10. Once it cooled, flip pan into a board sprinkled with cornstarch. Cut the Turkish delight in cubes. Then roll in cornstarch. Enjoy!
