President Cyril Ramaphosa has hailed the late Hosi Phylia N'wamitwa the second as a pioneering leader and a champion of women's rights and equality. Ramaphosa delivered the eulogy at the monarch's funeral today in Tzaneen, Limpopo. The HAWKS have made multiple arrests across four provinces, nabbing those suspected of defrauding the Mpumalanga Education Department of millions of rands. The suspects were arrested in Mpumalanga, Gauteng, Limpopo, and the Western Cape. The ANC in the eThekwini region of KwaZulu-Natal has condemned the shooting that claimed the life of its branch leader and wounded two others on Saturday night. Simiso Dlamini was shot and killed in an ambush in Umgababa, south of Durban. Prayers for the five miners trapped in a shaft at the Ekapa mine in Kimberley, Northern Cape, continue. The men are presumed dead after a mud rush trapped them in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Efforts to retrieve them are ongoing.
