Due to this area's remote and unforgiving nature, very few have visited, and the sense of discovery one gets when they visit for the first time is real. The overall experience, whilst challenging at times and heavily reliant on an ability to understand and adapt to changing weather conditions, is a highly satisfying one and a must-do for those who are self-reliant and self-sufficient.
