However, the Blue Line (#1) City Hall Station opened on August 15, 1974. Both City Hall Station and Euljiro 1(il)-Ga Station are located in Jung-Gu. Seoul City Hall is located right outside of the station as well as Deoksugung, a historic palace of the Joseon dynasty, located just across the street.
