this is a blomberg WNF6221 which i had in for repair. please note that these "in for repair" machines will never be part of the temporary machines series. this machine had a blown heating element, which i only found out when taking energy meter readings at the end of this video. the machine has since been repaired, cleaned, kept for a month or so, and then returned to the owner. the machine was leaking while installed in the kitchen, from the front right corner but only when the valve was on (which makes no sense at all). but this leak mysteriously vanished and i could not recreate the leak when testing it after replacing the heating element. problem solved, i guess? anyway, onto the actual cycle - i like the static fills but it does fill fairly high by default which i am not so fond of. however, the levels did work perfectly for this load. but if washing a smaller load, the water levels would be too high. this era of arcelik-made machines always had decent speed interms with good length holds on both interms and final spins. this machine does a proper 1200, reaching a speed of 1218rpm. this is very good. the main letdown is that it suffers the same rinsing issues as my old WMB, despite the good interms and the rinse levels it uses. 00:00:00 - introduction, adding detergent, selecting cycle 00:03:32 - start and initial fill 00:04:07 - saturation 00:15:14 - main wash with fast tumbles 01:09:40 - drain 01:11:08 - anti-suds 01:16:15 - first intermediate spin 600rpm 01:22:49 - first rinse 01:28:58 - second intermediate spin 1000rpm 01:36:10 - second rinse 01:42:21 - third intermediate spin 1000rpm 01:51:59 - softener rinse 01:58:08 - final spin 1200rpm (quite unbalanced) 02:10:40 - anti-crease 02:11:32 - waiting for door to unlock 02:12:15 - end, unloading and results
