Paragliding in Dharamshala channel provide amazing information of recreational and competitive adventure sports of flying paragliders. Paragliding can be extremely physically, and even mentally, demanding. In order to become a Paraglider, you should know the basic fundamentals of paragliding. The passion of paragliding was started by Garvit Sharma, who designed advanced gliding parachutes. Later in 1961, it was modified technically and soon the phase of Para commander started. In the same line, sail wing was modified by David Barish which was used for recovering NASA space capsules. After 1980’s, equipment started to modernize and this sport got a new dimension. World’s first paragliding championship (unofficial) was organized at Switzerland in the year 1987. Soon after that Federation of Aeronautic International (FAI) sport gave official nod to paragliding and organized first official world championship in Kossen, Austria in 1989. Participating Countries PMA (Paraglider manufacturer association) published an interesting fact according to which currently there are 1, 27,000 paragliders all over the world. The sport has its huge fan following in Europe, followed by Asia and Latin America. The countries that participate in this sport include Japan, Germany, Australia, France, New Zealand, Switzerland, South Korea, Brazil, China, Mexico, Taiwan, USA, India, Canada, Indonesia, Russia, Malaysia, and South Africa. Paragliding – Environment Paragliding demands jumping from high heels and to ski in the air for long hours. Therefore, a hill station having a stiff peak and a wide area for surfing in the air will be a suitable environment. If it will be played in any normal crowded area, then it is obvious that the user will face difficulty while paragliding. The area must also be free from any airline path so that the player should not face any emergency landing system due to an airplane approach. Adequate safety and protection must be taken care of before flying so that player can fly comfortably for long hours. To begin, weather conditions will vary among the different paragliding locations. Before paragliding, one should be completely aware of wind speeds. If there is no wind, it can be extremely hard to navigate throughout the air. But, if the wind is too strong, then it can be extremely dangerous to fly. The maximum high wind speed for beginners is usually 9 mph. The wind speed range for intermediate paragliders usually ranges from 10 mph to 18 mph. Advanced and expert paragliders can choose to fly in whatever wind speed they please. But overall, paragliders, no matter what skill level they are, should never fly in winds over 30 mph. Although 30 mph winds may not seem that fast, it seems a lot faster when you are flying in the air, rather than when you are on ground level. Another thing that paragliders should pay attention to; is the wind direction. Make sure that you are aware of what direction you are launching from, and the specific wind direction that it should be flowing from. You do not want to end up getting caught in the wind and risking your safety. It should be noted that there are a lot of weather conditions that you should avoid. For example, you should never paraglide in any type of storm. If it begins to rain while you are flying, continue with your flight course and land in the designated area. But, if your safety is in danger from the storm, make adequate changes to your paragliding course. Another thing that you should watch for is clouds. Avoid clouds that are taller than they are wide. Overall, make sure that you pay attention to the weather. Check the weather right before you go paragliding. Also, make sure that you can detect weather changes while you are in flight. If you can tell that a storm is about to happen, or the wind is changing, or any other kind of sudden weather change, then you will be much better off. Time to Fly Generally, any time of the day is a good time to fly. Nevertheless, we recommend starting in the morning. The best time of the day to fly during autumn and winter would be between 10:00 am. and 17:00 pm. --------------------------------- For more information and queries you can contact on :- 91 7807150610 91 9015276824 ---------------------------------- I hope you liked the video Thanks for watching See you soon in the next video ! #paraglidingindharamshala #dharamshalaparagliders #dharamshalaparagliding #indrunagparagliding #paragliders #mountainparagliders #himachalpradeshparagliding #himachalpradeshparagliders #paraglidervideos #paraglidingvideos #himachalparagliding #macleodganjparagliding
