Today, which is day 285 of 'A Year in the Life of a Miniaturist', we check out the fantastic miniature exhibition at the Brisbane Annual Dollhouse and Miniatures Show, hosted by BMEA (the Brisbane Miniature Enthusiasts Association). Check out the amazing tableaux, roomboxes and club projects! It was a 4.5 hour flight to Brisbane from New Zealand, and worth every minute spent on the plane! Brisbane is a lovely city and the region where the show is hosted is in a stunning green belt, as the opening clip in this video highlights. For those new to my channel, my video diary 'A Year in the Life of a Miniaturist', is not where I post a lot of tutorials. It's more about recording my miniature endeavours and activities. Sometimes heaps of progress in my studio, other times more thoughtful, slow and methodical as I solve miniature challenges, and when lucky to travel, visiting other clubs and miniature exhibitions.Today fell into the latter basket, and was a real treat! That said, I do occasionally share some project ideas folks may be interested in. So do make sure you subscribe to my free projects playlist as well. Check it out and grab the free downloads! You can see a lot more projects on the 'Free Projects' tab on my website as well: https://miniaturetimetraveller.com/fr... You could also check out the digital version of the minitatures magazine that I publish while you are there! Called 'Miniature Time Traveller' it is full of heaps of miniature articles, projects, and showcases guest miniaturist's work, See here: https://miniaturetimetraveller.com/op... For now, best wishes to all, Jill.
