I got sent $25 of random stuff, and I had to make something with it! But what did I get?! This time, I teamed up with three of my favourite YouTube channels, 8Bits and a Byte, TechnoChic and Make it and Fake it. We sent each other $25 of random items and the #challenge was that we had to use everything we were sent to make a robot or #electronics project. Definitely the most random package I've ever received – and that's saying something, since I pay a robot to send me mystery gifts every month! (But that's a topic for another video!) I had so many ideas, like making an unkillable robot plant, or an ivy cannon... but I really wanted to use all the plant pots. I didn't have enough wheels to make a robot plant army, and my cats were already spreading the ivy all over the house, so I ruled those ideas out. Instead I opted for a more stealthy approach – I turned the pots and their saucers into secret switches to control my smart lights! The pots are lined up on the shelf, with the ivy hiding the wires that trail between them, making it look like a normal display. BUT! Lift up one of the pots, place it back down and the lights in the room turn the same colour as the pot you picked up! What would you have made?
