In the first part of this two-part series on Dialling in the SLAYER Espresso / Single Group, join Dan Fellows as he shows the first steps when dialing in a new coffee, or even a brand new SLAYER Espresso machine. The first step is to set your pre-brew flow rate using SLAYER's patented needle valve technology. This can be adjusted based on the roast and intensity of the coffee being brewed. Next, select a brew recipe that delivers the amazing body and texture that is only capable when using a Slayer espresso machine. The next stage is determining an appropriate grind size to achieve a total contact time (pre-brew time + full brew time) that delivers excellent taste balance in the cup. In the final part of the video, Dan shares his ‘go-to’ starting recipe that works for a wide range of coffees, which you can try at home.
