IMPORTANT NOTE: I made this tutorial to share an art skill (because makeup, to me, is a form of art), not to encourage anyone to obsess over Asian features, or even to fetishize it. Please be mindful of the difference between being interested in Asian makeup and purposely 'pretending to be Asian'. It's a serious problem if people actually start to reject their own identity in order to pursue one of another race - in this case, Asian. Then it gets problematic and should be stopped. Do NOT use this tutorial to do anything racist, let's keep the kpop (cosplay) community a friendly and educated place for international kpop stans to have fun in, and protect its reputation from being spoiled. Some people think the reason why I could do kpop makeup is because I have monolids, but the truth is, I don't! I have tapered double lids and in my past tutorials, I used only makeup to cosplay kpop idols.
