Today I bring you a small suite of the latest collaboration between director Wes Anderson and composer Alexandre Desplat. It's their sixth collaboration and all of them have a very unique style, with a clever use of orchestration on Desplat's side, that perfectly fits Anderson's quirky and whimsical aesthethics, as well as his philosophical deviations, offering both fun and emotion. This score is no different and while it's even shorter and smaller that some of their previous work together, Desplat manages to present a fully developed main theme with different sections that play with each other, and which I tried to sum up as one small suite.
