The disappearance and death || The Case Of Jennifer Dulos || True Crime Documentary #TrueCrimeDocumentary #TrueCrimeNew #crimegenre #GhostofCrime Jennifer Dulos, born in 1968 in New York, was a mother of five who disappeared in May 2019 after a tumultuous divorce from her husband, Fotis Dulos. Jennifer and Fotis married in 2004 and had three sons and two daughters. Their relationship began to deteriorate in 2012, and by 2017, Jennifer filed for divorce, citing Fotis's affair with Michelle Troconis, a Venezuelan colleague. She also expressed fears for her safety due to his controlling and threatening behavior. On May 24, 2019, Jennifer dropped off her children at school and vanished. Blood stains were later found in her garage, and police suspected Fotis was involved. Surveillance footage captured suspicious behavior, including Fotis and Michelle dumping garbage bags that contained Jennifer’s blood-stained items. Fotis denied involvement, but mounting evidence linked him to the crime. In January 2020, Fotis was arrested for Jennifer’s murder but committed suicide before his trial. Michelle and Fotis’s friend, Kent Mawhinney, were also arrested for conspiracy to commit murder, though both pleaded not guilty. Despite extensive searches, Jennifer’s body has never been found. Her disappearance and death have prompted new domestic violence laws in Connecticut, ensuring her legacy impacts future victims.
