V-Rally Championship Edition 2 - PSX | Full Gameplay Playthrough

The long-awaited sequel to 1997's V-Rally. V-Rally 2 features four modes of play: Time Trial, Arcade, V-Rally Trophy, and Championship. There is also a track editor. There are more cars to choose from compared to the original, with 26 on offer, including many of the cars that represented the 1999 World Rally Championship. Beginning with arcade mode, it is very similar to that of the original game, where the player competes against 3 CPU opponents over a variety of stages set over 3 laps. There are three difficulty modes: Level 1, level 2 and expert, with each being unlocked after winning the previous level. Level 1 consists of 4 stages. Level 2 has 6, and Expert is run over 8 stages. The V-Rally Trophy is a new addition to the series - similar to the championship mode in the original game - which sees the player racing against 3 CPU opponents, only without the checkpoint timer that appeared in the Arcade mode and run over 2 laps. There is also more stages for each level: The European trophy has 8 stages, the World trophy has 12 and the Expert trophy has 16 respectively. The Championship mode has been heavily updated from the first game. Whereas before, the championship mode was similar to what the V-Rally Trophy is. Now, it acts like a proper rally - where you need to beat the fastest stage time without racing against other CPU drivers. The European championship consists of 8 countries of two stages each. The World championship is set over 12 countries of two stages. The Expert championship is set over 12 countries of three stages.
