The Kohathites, Gershonites, and Merarites each had a role—from carrying the heavy frames to carefully covering the sacred Ark. This wasn't just logistics; it was a lesson in spiritual maturity and treating the holy as holy. We also move into Chapter 5, which discusses purity in the camp and the difficult ritual regarding marital faithfulness. We learn that God takes betrayal seriously—whether it’s against a spouse or against Him—because His ultimate goal is a purified people who are set apart for His presence.
