I show how I blend the brilliant colors and add a sense of atmosphere to the painting. I used various paint brushes which I cover throughout the video lesson. Materials used: Golden fluid acrylic paint (titanium white, carbon black, cerulean blue, quinacridone red, cadmium red, primary yellow) Water for mixing into the paints (thinning) and washing brushes 16x20" stretched canvas About the painting: I could watch storms on the horizon forever. I love seeing those brilliant colored clouds just before dusk.
