Today marks the fourth round of the NXTGEN Racing Touring Car Championship (NXTCC) Season 10 as hosted on iRacing, powered by Doble Motorcycles! In this round we return to Europe for the classic Italian power circuit of Monza. Having hosted most, if not all major disciplines of road racing since its opening in 1922, it is a circuit which requires drivers to be as smart in the slipstream as they are fast through its corners. As our grid gets ready to take on its Grand Prix circuit minus the Rettifilio chicane, we can expect a trio of races where the win may come down to mere thousandths at the finish line! In the Overall Drivers’ Championship, team Project 26 w/ ATC dominated the headlines at Portland by locking out the podium in the first two races. A pair of wins for Swirydowicz has moved him ahead of Luciano Witvoet by 12 points, but could the slipstream focused nature of today’s venue serve to shake up the standings? In the PRO-AM Class, with Ben Altria promoted to PRO, and mixed fortunes for many last round, Sam Exton finds himself back on top by only five points ahead of Craig Twardoch; and with the top seven separated by only 34 points. Can Exton take command of the class today? Or will we have a new name on top come the finish? In the AM Class, a pair of podiums including a win for George Stone have enabled him to maintain his position at the top by 16 points over Marcel Fritsch. Nonetheless, Stone will not be taking anything for granted today given how so many of his rivals have taken to the podium so far! Our schedule for today is as follows (times GMT/UTC): 1940 Broadcast Starts 2000 Qualifying 2020 Race 1 2110 Race 2 2200 Race 3
