Got this clear with slightly higher score an hour or two in. Had no idea how the scoring works or how to raise the difficulty rank at this point. Game may look very difficult at first but it's surprisingly easy to clear, being extremely short and giving many extends factor into to that. There are Slow and Fast difficulty rank modes in the game options for an easy & hard mode respectively. Would be cool if Normal goes up to the higher speeds when you play well, that might be happening if you no-miss for long enough. I wonder how important the lives remaining bonus is at the end in that case.
