Video Produced by Nicholas Guercio Senator Brian Kavanagh and Assemblymember Dr. Anna Kelles spoke at a rally at the New York State Capitol on February 11th to address the New York Food Chemical Safety Act which they are both sponsors of. This legislation would ban additional toxic additives and synthetic food dyes, and would also give transparency in the ingredients that go into our food. They celebrated the FDA decision to ban Red Dye No. 3, but emphasized that this is just the beginning and in order to keep consumers safe the New York Food Chemical Safety Act must be passed.
