Bluetti Apex 300 replaced the Bluetti AC500 for home backup and energy storage

Below are links to all of the products mentioned in this video. I traded in my Bluetti AC500 for the Apex 300 in August 2025. The AC500 was only 8 months old, but was essentially as good as new when I traded it in. I received a REALLY good credit on the trade and was able to purchase the Apex 300 for a whole lot less than I expected using the trade-in credit! When I purchased the AC500 in Dec. 2024 it was a kit with 2 B300K batteries and the Home Integration Kit. I then bought an additional B300K battery. I have a grid-tied solar system that is NOT directly tied into my Apex 300 system. My Apex 300 plugs into an outlet in the house so on a sunny day, the Apex 300 system is charging indirectly off of solar, otherwise it's coming from the Grid. The small 600W array I have only inputs a small amount of what is drained from the battery. Even when I plug in my Renogy 400W portable solar suitcase, the combined solar input at the peak of the day is still barely enough to to keep up with our electrical use.
