It’s −8°C in Stockholm and I decided this would be the perfect day to look for a Viking runestone in Gamla Stan. Somewhere in the Old Town, built into a random wall, there’s a thousand-year-old stone carved during the Viking Age. The people who made it survived winters like this… so I figured I could at least survive long enough to find it. The challenge? No Google Maps.
