The children with special needs where kept away from the mainstream schools, because of the ignorance of the society and the education fraternity. They thought that these children are in need of special attention and a hindrance to the mainstream students and the schools. With the advent of accessible digital technologies, now a child with any physical or neuro impairments can break their barriers in learning, reading and writing. Andhra Pradesh School education department and their Samagra Siksha project department has done extensive studies on digitally accessible education pedagogy with their consultants Chakshu Mathi Inclusive Education and Rural Development Trust. With Vision 2025 Inclusive Andhra project the government is writing a new record in the world in pragmatic Inclusive digital Education by making all their schools accessible and teachers and students trained to include children with special needs to get main stream quality education, equity and opportunities. Samagra Shiskha Andhra Pradesh in conjunction with Rural Development Trust is conducting the First Inclusive Digital Fest of Andhra at RDT School for Inclusive Education at Anantapur on July 25, 2023. The project is part of Vision 2025 – Inclusive Andhra. Over 200 Children with Special Needs along with their main stream colleagues are going to show case their digital skills in Coding, Visual coding, Artificial Intelligence programming , Java Script, HTML and Web Designing, Chat GPT and Accessible Content creation, Internet of things and Robotics. Learning programming and Industry five point zero futuristic skill sets at the school age will not only empower the children with special needs but also in the inclusive school set up main stream children also get the skills of the future and make the State with highly skilled youth power and become India’s one of the most prospering State. The Digital fest is powered by Cybersquare, UK and Canada a world leader in early computer education and supported by SK University Atal Incubation Centre, Catch Lab and Indic AI.
