A recreation of one of my flights from when I was a glider pilot at Constantin Manolache Airclub near Deva. Startup in front of the hangar, take-off towards Deva. Flight over my hometown Simeria. A short pause over the hills of Geoagiu above the house of my grandparents. Low pass over the field where Aurel Vlaicu took off for the first time as the first aviator of Romania in the summer of 1909 in a glider built by himself. And finally landing on a makeshift runway near Sibot (Alba County), that my flight instructor used to train his UltraLight licence students. The field to the right of the makeshift runways was used as an arifield by the Germans during WWII
