After Patrachar Basti, my next destination was New Seemapuri slum in Delh. We went inside the streets of Seemapuri and talked to ragpickers. When we first entered Dilshad Garden area, we couldn't believe that are would be a slum like Seemapuri near because most of the societies near were nicely looking but the moment we entered into the actual slum I couldn't believe what I saw. Actually the condition in people are living is actually horrible and needs to be enhanced. Please watch the complete video to get the actual issue of the poor in our country. Many people claim be aware of these thousands of people but in real have we seen this slum from inside ever? So, today I will give a glimpse of how this slum looks like from inside and how do people survive in here. Sheikh Fafi Gul is my Name Since when have you been living here? I was born here My name is Muhammad Javed Since when have you been living here Javed ji? Some are for 10 INR some are 5 INR and some even are fo 2 INR How much do you earn in a day? 300 INR to 400 INR Did you ever feel like quitting this job and doing something else in life? Yes I feel like but we don't have an option, without money you can't think of any business or initiative How old are you? I am 28 years old Been 28 years and you never got rid of this poverty No brother, never, even our mother father grandparents worked so hard We only like congress party but the ruling party is BJP right We barely get any help from BJP Do you think BJP party is doing something for you? Nothing at all, they are sucking blood of the poor, they are ruining our employment So you have been living here for 38 years now, What changes do you see here? Yes few changes I observed but still these changes implemented in congress time As I am seeing here that all the people are talking Bangali here, why is that? We all are from Kolkata based, we are not Bangladeshi You are not from Bangladesh, but people live here from Bangladesh? Not now, earlier Bangladeshi people used to live here but not now I saw this thing here that almost everyone got these blade cuts on their hands, why? some do it in hooliganism, rest do it in Muharram when Ta'zieh process starts You must have seen, they do it in their mourning of Hasan Husain Some do it religiously and rest do it in intoxication, like when they had fight with their families and all I hope this video makes a difference in these people's life, with that note I see you in next video, Thank you
