A more in depth look at repairing the power stage circuit board unit in an S1000 Akai sampler. This procedure is very similar to that required for the S900 and S950. Here I show the guts of the S1000 by opening the case, identifying and removing the power stage module from the chassis and identifying failed or suspect components. I then go on to desolder capacitors, reading the component values and we look at other components on the board which need attention.
