Wolves are wary of humans, and even a faint whiff of our presence can make them flee. Therefore, the footage in this video was shot at a considerable distance to observe the natural behaviors of a family pack of wolves retreating to the summit for morning rest after night hunting. Unfortunately, some members of the pack, including the two cubs, were affected by mange (a skin mite afflicting various wild animals), and another had a shoulder wound. Nonetheless, it was a relatively large pack consisting of seven individuals, including the two cubs. Deer were staying on the opposite summit, and as we descended, a fox was seen hunting rodents. Il lupo è un animale infido nei confronti dell’uomo e basta un flebile fiuto della nostra presenza per darsi alla fuga. Quindi le riprese di questo video sono state girate a distanza considerevole, proprio per cercare di cogliere i comportamenti naturali di un branco familiare di lupi che si ritira in vetta per il riposo mattutino dopo la caccia notturna. Purtroppo qualche animale del branco, compresi i due cuccioli erano affetti da rogna (acaro della pelle che flagella diversi animali selvatici), un altro membro del branco aveva una ferita sulla spalla, ma nel contesto era un branco abbastanza numeroso composto da sette individui compresi i due cuccioli. Nella vetta difronte soggiornavano dei cervi, e nello scendere dalla vetta c’era una volpe intenta nella caccia ai roditori. Spero che il video sia stato di vostro gradimento.
