A day after a second-year girl student of Delhi University was shot dead at point blank range by an unknown assailant, massive protests have rocked the city where students are demanding the immediate arrest of the girl's murderer. Radhika Tanwar, 20, a BA student at Ram Lal Anand College on Benito Juarez Marg was shot from behind by a youth in his twenties when she was getting off a foot-overbridge at the busy Satya Niketan bus stop around 10.20am. The bullet hit her between the shoulders and she died before reaching a hospital. Students of the university are holding protests in the South Campus and have also marched down to Satya Niketan demanding justice for Radhika.
