In this first part of the Complete Blender Steam Train Modeling Course – we start our multi video journey to model, texture, rig and render a classic British steam train from scratch In this video we start as usual with setting up our blueprints before getting straight in to the high poly modelling of the boiler, tanks and chimneys. We are using a sub surface work flow and I'm going to walk you through all the steps to get clean modelling and avoid pinching Whether you're a beginner learning Blender for the first time, or an intermediate artist looking to sharpen your hard surface workflow, this series is designed to walk you through the project one step at a time.
