In this educational video, we demonstrate the Extended Transorbital Approach (ETOA) — a minimally invasive route that allows access to the lateral skull base, cavernous sinus, and middle fossa through an orbital corridor. This video aims to provide a clear anatomical understanding of the approach, including: Step-by-step dissection under microscopic and endoscopic visualization Key surgical landmarks and anatomical relationships Technical pearls for orientation and safety The goal is to support residents, fellows, and skull base surgeons interested in refining their knowledge of this surgical corridor and understanding how it integrates into modern skull base practice. 🔹 Special thanks to our fellows and invited faculty Marcos Ruiz, MD and Cristian Naudy for their outstanding surgical dissections and contributions. 📺 Watch more dissections and surgical videos on our channel: @rmpskullbase 🌐 Learn more about our educational work at: https://rmpskullbase.com #SkullBaseSurgery #TransorbitalApproach #ETOA #NeurosurgeryEducation #SkullBaseAnatomy #Microneurosurgery #EndoscopicNeurosurgery #RMPskullbase #middlefossa #pretemporal #minipterional #pterional #meningioma #cavernoussinus #brainsuegery #neurosurgery_made_easy #neurosurgerytraining
