Watch as Application Engineer Devin Murray explains the various features of the SLC440 Series of Safety Light Curtains. The SLC/ SLG 440 series offers numerous standard integrated functions such as fixed blanking, floating blanking, fixed blanking with movable edge region, double reset, contactor control (EDM), automatic mode, re-start mode, and beam coding. These functions are selected and programmed via a single push-button and the integrated 7-segment display. There is also an integrated alignment aid function to assist in setting up the system. Operating status is clearly visible -- there is a built in LED lamp in the receiver's end cap and the 7-segment display shows error codes and flashing signals to report specific faults and problems. The SLC440 series features a one-piece extruded reinforced housing, a compact 28 mm x 33 mm rectangular profile.
