In this video we see ultrasounds on Jewell and Alice. Then we have a humorous Break in and a review of our new yarns. Norsk Mountain Farm in Elkton Virginia, right below the Shenandoah National Park in the Shenandoah Valley. We are a senior mom, Lorre 68-years-old and schoolteacher daughter, Emily, running a homestead fiber farm and farm store that sells fiber, yarn and wool batts. We have a retreat house we are finishing so we can host fiber as well as other types of retreats such as spinning and quilting. In this video we Process a raw Romney Marsh sheep fleece from our recent shearing. As well as getting to know and love our farm animals we want you to spend time in our shop, travel around Virginia, visit Fiber Fairs and Local Yarn Shops. We also will be sharing knit patterns and fiber art tutorials. Our farm has Romney Marsh sheep, Shetland ponies, a Connemara Pony, a Haflinger horse, miniature Jersey cows, Alpine and Angora goats, Swedish Flower Hen chickens, Self Blue Chickens, Brahma chickens and many other varieties.
