Event Horizon: Miller fights Dr. Weir What’s happening in this Event Horizon movie clip? Miller (Laurence Fishburne) is attacked by a demonic Dr. Weir (Sam Neill). The latter starts by taking the form of Corrick, a subordinate Miller was forced to abandon to his death. However, Miller manages to keep his good sense and doesn't get destabilized by the apparition. In consequence, Dr. Weis takes his form back and we discover him naked, the body full of scars. He then grabs Miller and shows him the true nature of the hellish dimension through visions. Miller manages to fight back and an ultimate confrontation ensues. The high-tech, pioneering research spacecraft mysteriously vanished, without a trace, on its maiden voyage seven years earlier.
