Nearly two years after the body of a newborn baby was found in a garbage truck in Plain City, investigators say they’ve identified the baby's mother. Anuradha Manukonda of Greene County is charged with gross abuse of a corpse, a fifth-degree felony, in connection with the death of "Madison Baby Doe," who was found during a routine trash collection route in the 100 block of Bluestem Lane in June 2023. "This isn’t like CSI on TV, where it's solved in 30 minutes. This was a hard case to solve," Police Chief Dale McKee said.
