Following His Majesty The King's Proclamation at the Accession Council on 10 September 2022 at St James's Palace in London, the Cayman Islands hosted its own proclamation ceremony in Grand Cayman. Dignitaries and the community gathered together to witness His Excellency The Governor, Martyn Roper, read the Proclamation of the new Sovereign. The ceremonial event took place at 9 am outside of Government House and was open to the public. Programme: Formation of Parade Assembly of Officials around the Dais Arrival of the Premier, Hon. G.
